ZL Social was founded in 2019 by Zyad Limamy, a Google Certified marketing professional with more than a decade of experience in sales, advertising, and digital marketing.
Zyad began working with local businesses in Edmonton as a teenager before gaining four years of professional sales and marketing experience in the automotive industry with Yachimec Auto Group in Edmonton, Alberta. At 22, he founded ZL Social and went on to build it into a six-figure marketing agency.
Throughout his career, Zyad has worked hands-on with businesses across more than 15 industries, including financial services, construction, manufacturing, roofing, fitness, automotive, e-commerce, hospitality, accounting, med spas, and barbering. His experience ranges from independent local businesses to established international brands such as Flexitallic.
Zyad has managed seven figures in advertising spend and contributed to eight figures in combined client revenue. Among his longest partnerships were Mr. Barber and Canada School of Barbering, where he worked closely on marketing, advertising, customer acquisition, and growth strategy for five years.
During those partnerships, Zyad helped turn both companies from strong local businesses into recognized industry leaders, helping them expand their reach, strengthen their brands, attract more customers, and grow their presence in the market.
These experiences have given ZL Social firsthand knowledge of what it takes to help businesses attract new customers, compete in their markets, expand their reach, and build recognizable brands.
